The Role:
We are seeking a Verifications Team Leader to help scale our rapidly-growing team by ensuring exceptional standards in the verification process. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and results-driven individual passionate about accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will lead a team to meet verification targets, maintain compliance with record-keeping standards, and drive high adoption of training and quality assurance practices to support seamless customer onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Verifications:
- Verification Accuracy: Ensure verifications are completed without errors.
- Turnaround Time: Ensure verifications are completed within the required SLA.
- Record Keeping: Maintain 100% compliance with record-keeping standards, ensuring completeness and organisation of verification records.
Leadership:
- Team Development & Engagement: Maintain team performance and productivity.
- Team Performance: Ensure the team consistently meets verification targets.
- Communication Effectiveness: Ensure effectiveness in instructions, meetings, and team alignment.
- Team Performance & Behavior Management: Provide regular KPI feedback, and manage attendance, punctuality, and work quality.
Reporting:
- Report Accuracy & Comprehensiveness: Ensure 100% accuracy in reporting.
- Timeliness of Reports: Submit all reports on or before deadlines.
- Actionable Insights: Deliver clear, well-structured, and easy-to-understand reports.
Training & Quality:
- Quality Assurance Scoring: Maintain Quality Assurance scoring that meets required targets
- Training & Refresher Adoption: Ensure high training adoption for efficient verification processes.
Customer Interaction & Resolution:
- First Call Resolution: Achieve resolution of inquiries related to verifications on first contact.
- Campaign Adoption: Drive high adoption of verification campaigns for seamless customer onboarding.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure full compliance with e-commerce industry regulations and company standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Ideal:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephonic and communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Highly motivated and energetic, along with a 'self-starter' attitude
- Must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Must be organised and detail-oriented
- Demonstrate empathy and initiative when engaging with customers.
- Ability to read and analyze bank statements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be shift flexible including one weekend day.
- Able to work overtime, especially during monthly peak period
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques would be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems, Zendesk advantageous.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant certifications and experience (essential)
- Team Leader/Management Experience (essential)
- 3+ years in business support experience
- IT & Data certifications (advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable with repetitive processes
- Clear ITC record
- Fluent English - Written and Oral
- A high level of mathematical ability (advantageous)
