Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By participating in this competition you are acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions set herein. Furthermore, the entrant acknowledges that should they breach any rule stipulated herein, they may be disqualified from the competition. This competition is being run by Rentoza Pty Ltd.
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age that are domiciled in South Africa. Rentoza Pty Ltd employees and associates are excluded from the draw.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter.
Entrants must have an existing subscription with Rentoza for a gaming product.
The Prize
The winning customer will be awarded the prize that includes.
- The organisation of a gaming tournament for the winner and 10 friends.
- All consoles, accessories and other peripheral devices are to be provided by Rentoza for the duration of the tournament.
- Prize money for the tournament amounting to ten thousand rand (R10 000) only
The use of specific brands as prizes by Rentoza Pty Ltd does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control requires doing so.
Rentoza’s decision on any aspect of the competition including the start and closing date is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Terms of Prize and Ownership of Assets
The winning of the prize does not constitute ownership of any of the items associated with the competition. Rentoza retains ownership of the aforementioned items.
The prize shall be awarded based on a random draw from entries received and will only be awarded should the winner be a valid verified subscriber to a Rentoza gaming product. Tournament game(s) and rules are to be decided with the winner (host) during the planning stage.
The tournament will be hosted in the winner's current city based on the proof of address they’ve provided as part of the verifications process.
The venue for the tournament will be decided by Rentoza, and can be either at their place of residence or at a venue selected by Rentoza.
All devices and equipment to host the tournament will be provided by Rentoza. All devices and accessories as well as any other assets and items provided by Rentoza for the tournament remain the property of Rentoza and any loss, theft or damage of the aforementioned items will result in the winner being held liable for paying the Rentoza Care fee, which is up to a maximum of 10% of the item's original retail value, as in accordance with the Rentoza Care Policy, found on our website.
The cash prize will be determined by the rules of the tournament set out by the winner and Rentoza prior to undertaking the tournament. Prize money will be awarded on the night and deposited within two (2) business days of the tournament winner's announcement.
The tournament’s duration cannot be longer than 6 hours on the date agreed upon by both parties.
NOTE: Rentoza is a subscription platform and does not sell any of its items. The ownership of all items will always remain with Rentoza and is therefore Rentoza’s property, unless otherwise stated. Should ownership change to any party from Rentoza, that party will be given a certificate of ownership at such a time that the event should occur.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the email address provided.
Rentoza Pty Ltd will make two attempts to contact the winner via email. Should the winner not respond to the emails informing them of their win within fourteen (14) days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Rentoza Pty Ltd reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow for at least 14 working days for Rentoza to contact them in relation to their prize winnings.
Data Protection and Publicity
In entering the competition you acknowledge and agree:
(1) that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Rentoza Pty Ltd for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
(2) (the winner) to release their first name and place of employment to any other competition participants, if requested by Rentoza to do so
(3) that as the competition winner your name may be used for competition purposes in promoting or publicizing the competition, including the right to name you as winner of a prize in public
(4) to the winner's first name and country of residence will be announced on Rentoza’s Social media channels.

Limitation of Liability
Rentoza Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
General
Rentoza Pty Ltd reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
All entrants must complete our verifications process which includes paying a R1 charge in order to facilitate the verification process and ensure we have the winners card details on file for Rentoza Care purposes, should the need arise for this.
All entries that are incomplete or don’t follow the rules will automatically be disqualified.
