The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee both our retail store/kiosk with omni channel operations experience. This role requires a leader who can manage day-to-day in-store activities, drive online sales, and ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels leveraging business platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, a deep understanding of e-commerce and omni-channel environments, and the ability to manage a team while achieving business goals.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Retail Store Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the retail store/kiosk, including staff management, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with all safety and operational standards.
- Analyse sales reports and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in the store's performance.
E-commerce Management:
- Manage the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings, inventory synchronisation, and smooth order processing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product and tech teams to optimize the online shopping experience, including website functionality, product descriptions, and customer service.
- Monitor online sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase online revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues related to online orders, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales driven team at the retail store/kiosk.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture, encouraging teamwork and a strong sense of ownership among employees.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee daily inventory management in store and as per the business systems, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Work closely with the value chain to ensure optimal customer experience is maintained from timely verification to delivery of products.
Systems:
- Utilize data and dashboards to monitor daily sales performance and customer interaction.
- Track and analyze the progress of individual retail sales associates using system-generated reports.
- Ensure accurate data entry and consistency across all platforms.
- Leverage system insights to identify trends, forecast sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Train and support team members in using company systems effectively.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies or software updates, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Manage any system-related troubleshooting and coordinate with the Technology and Product teams for swift resolution.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all channels, including in-store, online, and in person customer service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback from both retail and online platforms to continuously improve service offerings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field advantageous
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management, with experience in e-commerce operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Zendesk, e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and financial reports.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform other physical tasks as needed.
