About the Role:
The Circular Flow Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of Rentoza's circular economy model. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of products, from customer returns and refurbishments to resale and redistribution. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and data-driven individual with a strong understanding of logistics, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Development & Optimization:
- Develop and implement robust processes for product recovery, refurbishment, and redistribution.
- Continuously analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
- Design and implement quality control procedures to ensure refurbished products meet Rentoza's high standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of the circular flow process.
2. Data Management & Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to product returns, refurbishment costs, resale values, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate reports and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory records for all refurbished products.
- Use data driven insights to optimize the performance and turn around times of repair partners.
3. Tech & Systems Integration & Development:
- Collaborate with the Product, Technology and Data teams to implement and integrate relevant technologies (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management systems and content management systems) to streamline operations.
- Explore and implement new technologies and automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity within the circular flow process.
4. Sustainability & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of materials.
- Explore opportunities to collaborate with recycling partners and other stakeholders in the circular economy.
5. Customer Experience & Optimization:
- Ensure a smooth and seamless experience for customers during the product return and exchange process.
- Identify and address any customer concerns or issues related to product returns or refurbishments.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience throughout the product life cycle.
6. Procurement:
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers for refurbished parts, components and packaging.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels of refurbished parts and components.
- Develop and source sustainable packaging partners for all products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations management, preferably within the electronics or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing operational processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google and related platforms and data analysis tools.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
