The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in the success of Rentoza by overseeing and optimizing all daily operational functions. This key leadership position demands a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-faceted operations within a fast-paced environment.
The COO will be responsible for leading and motivating teams across Rentoza Protect, Logistics, Circular Flow, Facilities Management, and Supply Chain Management, ensuring seamless processes, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure the best value for required goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient storage, picking, and packing of products.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline supply chain management and improve data accuracy.
Overall Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize all operational functions across departments.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency gains.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration to achieve operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead the development and implementation of Rentoza Protect strategies, ensuring customer protection and minimizing business risk.
- Manage insurance partnerships, negotiate premiums, and optimize coverage for both customers and Rentoza assets.
- Oversee claim processing, ensuring timely and efficient resolution while minimizing fraudulent activity.
- Monitor customer satisfaction with Rentoza Protect and implement strategies to improve the program.
- Manage all aspects of logistics, including supplier collections, customer deliveries, and device recoveries.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective product movement.
- Lead the recovery team in repossessing devices from defaulting subscribers, managing cancellations, upgrades, and downgrades.
- Ensure effective collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain departments for seamless logistics integration.
- Manage the refurbishment process for returned products, maximizing efficiency and quality control.
- Oversee repackaging and redistribution of refurbished products back to the subscriber base.
- Track and analyze circular flow data to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource utilization.
- Drive customer satisfaction with refurbished products and promote the circular economy model.
- Lead the management of all Rentoza offices across the country, ensuring efficient space utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Implement policies and procedures to create a safe, comfortable, and productive working environment for employees.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
- Oversee the management of cleaning and third party contractors.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior operational leadership role within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing complex, multi-faceted operations.
- Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable business practices.
- Experience in implementing and managing insurance programs within business operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to operational challenges.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Experience working with technology solutions to streamline operational processes.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and ever-changing business environment.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
